o Protokolu o obnovení normálních styků mezi Československou republikou a Japonskem.
Dne 13. února 1957 byl v Londýně sjednán Protokol o obnovení normálních styků mezi Československou republikou a Japonskem.
Národní shromáždění projevilo s Protokolem souhlas dne 6. března 1957 a president republiky jej ratifikoval dne 22. března 1957. Ratifikační listiny byly vyměněny v Londýně dne 8. května 1957.
Podle svého článku 6 Protokol nabyl účinnosti dne 8. května 1957.
Protokol a jeho český překlad se vyhlašují v Příloze Sbírky zákonů1) .

Relating to the restoration of normal relations between the Czechoslovak republic and Japan
The Czechoslovak republic and Japan,
Desiring to put an end to the state of war which has unfortunately existed between the two countries, and to restore relations of peace and amity between them in conformity with the principles of the Charter of the United nations,
Have agreed as follows;
Article 1
The state of war between the Czechoslovak Republic and Japan is terminated as from the date on which the present Protoctol enters into force.
Article 2
Diplomatic relations shall be re-estabilished between the Czechoslovak Republic and Japan, and the two countries shall exchange diplomatic envoys with the Ambassadorial rank withnout delay.
Article 3
1. The Czechoslovak Republic and Japan confirm that they will be gulded by the principles of the Charter of the United Nations and in particular the following principles set forth in Article 2 theroof:
a)
to settle their international disputes by peacufel means in such a manner that international peace and security, and justice, are not endangered;
b)
to refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any State or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations.
2. The Czechoslovak Republic and Japan mutually undertake that they will not intervene, either directly or indirectly, in the internal affairs of each other, regardless of whether for economic, political or ideological reasons.
Article 4
The Czechoslovak Republic and Japan mutually waive all claims of the respective State and its organizations and nationals against the other State and its organizations and nationals in so far as they have arisen out of the state of war between the two countries.
Article 5
The Czechoslovak Republic and Japan agree to enter into negotiations as soon as possible for the conclusion of treaties or agreements to place their trading, maritime and other commercial relations on a stable and friendly basis.
